WEDNESDAY - Advanced Arborists Training Workshop:

Presentation:  It's a dirty business: Trees and Soil
Dr. Les Werner , Associate Professor of Forestry,
University of Wisconsin

Moderator: Rick Spurgeon, Vice-President, Kansas Arborist Association
 

Understanding the differences in soil---What different trees demand of a soil—How to evaluate a soil—How to test and interpret the testing of  both soil and trees—How to improve the soil for the tree. After this day, you will see that dirt is not just dirt and that you can remodel the home the tree lives in.

 

Registration will open at 7:30 am with the workshop beginning at 8:30. Lunch will be provided at noon and there will be breaks in both morning and afternoon
A Social with exhibitors at 5:00 pm includes a tally bar and hors d’oevres.
